SPA Center - Sovata, Romania

"The construction of the new SPA center is intended to be an extension of the functioning
package of accommodation, conferences and recreational activities already existing on the
studied land. The new construction is located in a sloping area.
 

The relatively large volume, generated by its function, would have not been compatible
with the existing architecture nearby, therefore, a more sensitive approach for “the new large building”, was to
have it volumetrically divided into functional zones.

The vertical wooden slats on the facades refer to the most frequently used material at the
historic villas, located in the resort area." - Plan Vertical
